The goal of Discipleship at NPC is to infect all people with joy in God's glory and a passion to become like him. We want to intentionally connect men, women and children in small group communities, spiritual relationships which help individuals toward: a growing familiarity with God's Word, a greater knowledge of God, a deeper relationship with Christ, and an increasing responsiveness to the Holy Spirit toward experiencing and applying the Gospel to life.
Discipleship helps individuals, couples and families engage in intentional community with the purpose of helping one another be more like Christ: taking the gospel (the good news about Jesus Christ and what he did on the cross) and applying it to everyday life experiences like driving kids to school, managing a team at work, raising children, and working in the yard.
Discipleship includes the activities of welcoming, discovering, learning, connecting, becoming a member, engaging in small groups, finding leadership roles, and serving in the church and local community.

Spring Clean-up!

Saturday, April 18, from 9-noon we are going to have a “Spruce-Up” morning for NPC. There will teams working outside (weather permitting) and inside to do some deep cleaning and take care of things that the janitorial team just does not have time to get to on a regular basis.

Can you come give a hand to your church home for 3 hours or any part there of? Tasks will include things like:

Outside:

Cleaning beds
Trimming brush
Cutting down a couple small trees
Washing windows
Raking leaves

Inside:

Washing interior and exterior windows
washing marks off walls
Dusting trim and “high places”
Possibly spot cleaning some carpets
Etc., etc., etc.,

If you have noticed anything that needs to be done, you are welcome to come at that time and tackle a project of your choice.

We are sorry, but THERE WILL BE NO BABYSITTING OR CHILDCARE PROVIDED. If your children are old enough to work and you would like them to work BESIDE YOU, they are more than welcome to come.

That is awesome... Our church is doing "Close the Doors" day where we SHUT the doors of the church on sunday morning (after two worship songs) and then we go out into the community and help folks with various projects. Some crews will be working on local parks and children's playgrounds. Others will be working with the eldarly to do basic home repairs and cleanup jobs. It's going to be an awesome day. Thanks for Loving Jesus and Serving Him!!
